Detroit does not have the best of reputations. Due to a history of violence and crime, the city has been placed in a negative spotlight for years. Everyone involved in the #detroitreceptionchallenge loved being able to spread some positivity toward the city they all called home.
They took an unfortunate situation like online haters and turned into a joyous one with a wonderful wedding reception. The couple also mentioned how special it was to relive such a significant day in their lives.
