Another comment explained the guy’s wife was going to have to get used to people mixing them up until they’re older. They did suggest that drawing on his kids wasn’t the best solution from the father, and he should have tried to find a different solution to the problem.
The person thought that if the guy’s wife was unwilling to help him out, she was not really entitled to get upset with him. It was clear he couldn’t tell them apart, which would have been upsetting to the father too.
