It’s probably quite shocking that this one is on the list. However, there have been a number of cases of soon-to-be fathers coming into the labor room, staggering and unable to see straight. This is probably one of the worst things anyone can do, as it adds significant stress to the situation.
One father had been at a bachelor party the night before. While he may not have foreseen his wife going into labor, it would have been best if he didn’t turn up without being able to put a sentence together. The hospital staff had to put him to bed and sober him up.
