In society, there has been a movement from fathers to try and remove the gender stereotyping surrounding parenthood. Fathers are perfectly capable of looking after their children and getting involved in their day-to-day lives, but not everyone seems to think so.
There are many instances when it is presumed the mother will be the one to look after, or care for their child, leaving the father feeling as though he isn’t expected to have any influence on the raising of their child.
