The beginning of the end for Beth began in September 2017 when she was diagnosed with throat cancer. Initially she was able to go into remission, but her cancer came back and had spread to her lungs. She was given a stage four diagnosis, which often results in a prolonging of life but not a cure.
According to Dog, Beth had already tried chemo and following the second diagnosis, she decided she wouldn’t try the treatment again. She wanted to be by Dog’s side, not sitting at home during the filming of their latest TV series.
