Of course, Dolly now knows that the baby that was once left on her doorstep would now be an adult. In fact, they’d be around 45 years old – if they were in fact still alive today. Dolly has noted that she often thinks about the baby, and she wonders what they are up to today and whether they are happy. She also can’t help but wonder whether they would be a fan of her music. After all, with a name like Jolene they can’t ignore the fact that the name is so tightly tied to the country music star.
