Nowadays, it’s not unusual for couples to not have children – but people do often wonder their reasoning behind this. Some couples simply have no desire to have children, while others can. In Dolly’s case, she has noted that she doesn’t think it was her plan in life to have a child or children. She has noted that “God has a plan for everything” and that it is Dolly’s job to take care of the other children in the world with her music and her charity work. That is her role in society.
