Around the time of the movie being released, Parisa Fitz-Henley spoke out about how Meghan and herself had gone through lots of “similar life experiences.” The Jamaican-American actress is best-known for her roles in Marvel TV shows Jessica Jones and Luke Cage but had to take on a very different part for the Lifetime movie.
While she had obviously never met the Duchess (yet?), her research into the former Suits actress in preparation for playing her made her realize that the two actually had far more in common than she initially thought.
