Several years after losing their daughter, Tara and Todd co-wrote a book dedicated to Taylor. Named after their organization, the publication covered their daughter’s tragic loss and the effect it had on the people who received her organs.
The stories of these donees who desperately needed transplants were shared in the book, putting the reader on an emotional rollercoaster. The Storchs went through a lot of inner turmoil while penning Taylor’s Gift, but the therapeutic benefits of it proved to be worthwhile. It helped letting everything out.
