The Storchs returned home from their family vacation completely broken. They’d been all smiles when they’d left for the ski resort, but now they were struggling to put on a brave face. Taylor should have been in the car ride home with them, but she wasn’t. She was never going to be with them again, and that was a lot to handle, especially for her younger siblings. They were old enough to understand that Taylor wasn’t coming back, but that didn’t mean it all made sense to them.
Why had she been taken so young? Was this all part of a bigger plan? Her parents wished they had the answers to those questions, but they didn’t. Tara and Todd didn’t know if they ever would. This was brand new territory for them too, and they were all going to have to navigate it together.
