In 2005, TLC decided to mix things up once again. This time, they decided to fire Davis in exchange for a host-free program. At first tabloids speculated that the reason for her firing was following a risque performances she gave at a Broadway charity event but TLC denied the claim. They merely said that they would be going in a new creative direction. Fans were disappointed, however, that the vivacious host wouldn’t be returning and hoped she would come back for the 2018 reboot.
