The ratings suffered after Davis was taken off the air so for its last season they chose to bring her back. Fans were excited to see their favorite host back in the spotlight where she started off. The show was canceled in 2009 but when the show was picked back up this year, the internet went crazy for Davis. “My own social media platforms literally blew up from one announcement,” she told People Magazine. “I immediately called TLC and said ‘you know I want to host it, right?’”
