Always a fan of homemaking and building, he decided to try his hand at combining his skill sets with his modeling career. After Trading Spaces, he became TV’s go-to guy for hosting design shows. He hosted nine seasons of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and later the cooking show On the Menu. He has written two books about design and home living and even has his own furniture company with mega-corporation Sears. He is back where he belongs this year in the reboot of Trading Spaces.
