Before Pam and John agreed to offer their family room up for redecoration, they each made it clear that they do not want their fireplace touched. They were interested in sprucing up their floral patterned sofa and chair as well as retouching the walls with a fresh coat of paint. They loved their fireplace, however, and were sure to tell their neighbors to not go near it. Unfortunately for Pam and John, their neighbors didn’t quite get the memo.
