McBride decided to slow down her touring schedule after giving birth to her third daughter in 2005. She is currently in the studio recording her upcoming Christmas album in time for next year’s holiday season. In addition to a busy music career, McBride is highly involved in a number of philanthropic causes that focus on education and healthcare for women. She created Team Music is Love to raise money and bring awareness to breast cancer research.
