[post_page_title]Sara Evans then[/post_page_title]
Sara Evans became a country music staple after her single No Place That Far went number one on the Billboard Country Charts. When she was just eight years old Evans was involved in a car accident and reportedly sang in her small Missouri town to help pay for her medical bills. She moved to Nashville in 1991 to pursue a career as a country singer. She got the attention of music executives there and was signed to RCA Records in 1997. And the rest, as they say, is history.
