In an interview with Vanity Fair, Gigi tried to explain the slightly confusing connection between the two famous families. She said, “My mom married David Foster, who was married to Linda Jenner (now Thompson), who was Bruce Jenner’s (now Caitlyn Jenner) ex-wife.” She explained, “We’re related through divorced marriages.”
