Mister Rogers had a pretty typical routine when he began each episode. Put on a sweater, change his shoes, and then eventually say hello to the fish. The fish used to get fed in silence, but all that changed when the show received a special letter. A young girl wrote in explaining that she was blind and was concerned for the fish because he never said if he fed them. After that, Mister Rogers always announced that he was feeding fish, something we’re sure that little girl appreciated.
