Fred Rogers was known to be very kind and generous with adults as well. One time a television executive invited Rogers to dinner, and had sent a limo for him. Rogers struck up a conversation with the driver and ended up inviting him into the executive’s home for dinner. Afterwards, when the driver mentioned they were passing his home, Rogers offered to meet his family. The driver later said that Rogers was extremely kind and played music with his family for hours, leading to one of the best nights of his life.
