This generous nature of Rachael’s comes as a bit of a surprise given she was previously reported to be a lousy tipper. Apparently, Ray usually tips around 10% when she dines out, something that’s caused a lot of controversy over the years.
Given she made her living in the food industry, people expect her to give back more. Most serving staff in the US rely on tips to keep themselves afloat, so to have Rachael of all people deny them a decent pay must be a pretty low blow.
