After seeing the positive effect that the US Warrior Games had on the military veterans who participated, Harry knew he wanted to bring something similar to the UK.
In 2014, Harry launched the first ever Invictus games – an event that brings injured soldiers from around the world to compete in a series of sporting events from archery and cycling to wheelchair basketball and Paralympic swimming. Since then, the games have been a tremendous success that has only grown over the years.
