Despite certainly having the means to have someone do his shopping for him, Harry likes to get his groceries on his own. According to the Prince, doing his own errands helps him maintain a more ordinary life – something he learned from his late mother who constantly taught him about the importance of connecting to the real world.
In an interview, Harry once said, “Sometimes, when I come away from the meat counter in my local supermarket, I worry someone will snap me with their phone. But I am determined to have a relatively normal life.”
