Woody Harrelson has been in Hollywood forever, but the Cheers’ actor has some dark family history that even some of his biggest fans may not know about.
Harrelson’s dad, Charles Voyde Harrelson, was a convicted hitman who got sentenced to two life terms in 1979 for taking the life of Federal Judge John H. Wood Jr. Harrelson, who was only 18 at the time of his father’s conviction, claimed to not have a very close relationship with his dad as he said he was rarely around during his childhood.
