Oprah’s name is so iconic, that she doesn’t even need a last name for people to know who she is. The longtime television host who has had a talk show, book club, magazine, and TV network named after her is actually not Oprah, but Orpah.
While she was always called Oprah, there was a mix-up with the spelling of her name after she was born, which is why on her birth certificate it is mistakenly written as Orpah.
