Geena Davis’ skills in acting are well-known, less known, however, are her incredible skills in the sport of archery. In the year 2000, the Thelma & Louise actress nearly qualified for the Summer Olympics in Sydney.
She made it all the way to the semi-finals qualification round, placing 24 out of the 300 candidates. The best part of all this, however, is the fact that she had only started archery two years prior to the try outs.
