Tarek and Christina had planned for their seminars to appear in Oregon. However, the couple were forced to cancel after local fans held online protests. Christina explained the group were up in arms about the affordable housing crisis in the area and were turning the blame onto the pair.
Although the couple had nothing to do with the area’s housing issues, Christina said that receiving hate was nothing new. She further explained that the public would comment on all aspects of her family life as well as her dress sense.
