While some actors dream of becoming a movie star from the time they can first talk, Rebel Wilson’s first career choice was actually in mathematics. It actually took a malaria-induced hallucination to make her realize she wanted to become an actress.
After contacting malaria during a year abroad in South Africa, Wilson hallucinated that she had won an Oscar. After recovery, she made it her mission to turn the vision into a real-life pursuit and has been doing pretty good so far.
