Megan Mullally was hired to voice one of the characters in Finding Nemo, but was fired after she refused to do her iconic high-pitched voice that she uses for Karen Walker on Will & Grace.
According to Mullally, Disney had agreed that she could use whatever voice she wanted for the undisclosed character, but they still kept pushing the actress to use a higher and higher voice. She refused to follow their request, so they let her go.
