In 1997, just a year before Britney Spears would take over the world with her hit Baby One More Time, the Princess of Pop joined an all-female group called Innosense – who were set on becoming the next Spice Girls.
Spears decided to go solo, and released her first mega single, Baby One More Time, the following year. Although she cut ties with the group, she did let them open for her during her first tour as a solo artist.
