Even though Diana supposedly jumped from one affair to the other during her marriage, that doesn’t lessen Charles’ betrayal with Camilla. He might have only had eyes for the Duchess of Cornwall, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior.
As the one in the marriage who was royal by blood, his affair was the one that really stood out. The Prince probably should have known better, especially given his position in the line of succession. People didn’t love the thought of a love rat ascending to the throne one day.
