This was a vacation that Jason was looking forward to just as much as Maisy and Odette. Odette spoke to Cornwall Live and said the expense was too much to reconsider booking.
They had already spent over £1,000 ($1,300), and their new flying route to South Africa would have involved three planes and a 40-hour journey. Odette told the news outlet that she and Jason were just going to have to Facetime each other a lot over Christmas as they wouldn’t be reunited.
