Odette said that she was amazed no one told her or Maisy anything when they booked her flight. Instead, they had to find out when they turned up to the airport, hundreds of miles away from home.
It was a painful lesson to learn, but any time the pair travel in the future they are likely to check the regulations before booking. Odette said to Cornwall Live that despite their disappointment the airline staff were very helpful during her daughter’s time of distress.
