Odette and Maisy’s flights were two hours apart, but it was time for the 17-year-old to make her way through security. The last time Maisy had traveled to South Africa was before 2015, and since then there have been some regulation changes.
It was one of those changes that was denying Maisy access to her plane, and causing her a lot of upset. Her emotions had been running high as she was going to be flying solo, but now it looked like she wouldn’t be flying at all.
