As a youngster, Melanie Griffith was able to rise to fame thanks to her various roles in many thriller movies throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s. It wasn’t until she landed a part in the thriller movie Body Double that Melanie got her name on the map.
Unfortunately, it was her time in the limelight that would change the star’s appearance for good. Melanie was attacked by a lioness while filming on the set of the adventure movie Roar which left the star needing 50 stitches in her face.
