During the late 1970s, Lee Majors was good friends with Ryan O’Neal. At that time, it just so happened that while Lee was working on a movie in Toronto where Ryan’s daughter lived, Ryan was working in Los Angeles, right by the house that Majors shared with his wife.
Because of this, the two actors made a deal with each other. Majors would check in on Tatum O’Neal, and O’Neal would check in on Farrah Fawcett. The men wanted to make sure that both women were happy and that they weren’t too lonely.
