Norm is not the first comedian to claim that the internet is harming comedy and comedians long-term, and we’re sure he won’t be the last. It is undeniable that the internet has had a massive impact on the world of comedy, and Macdonald believes it requires too much content, which in turn leads to lower quality comedy.
There is perhaps something to be said for this, with other artists claiming that the internet seems to be having a negative impact on art, and the entertainment industry of late.
