As mentioned earlier, Macdonald has battled with gambling addiction throughout his career, and he appears to have a keen interest in poker. In fact, during his gambling stint, he actually competed in the 2007 World Series of Poker tournament.
Norm actually placed pretty well in the tournament, coming 20th out of more than 800 players, and scooping winnings of more than $14,000. It is unlikely he is still competing in these tournaments since battling addiction though.
