When Courtney Thorne-Smith appeared on Conan to plug her movie Chairman of the Board, starring Carrot Top, Macdonald was less than complimentary; particularly when it came to the fellow comedian. He essentially conflated Carrot Top with box office poison.
Critics and fans were quick to jump on board with the panning, and the move essentially bombed at the box office. Yet again, Norm Macdonald proving that he’s not too worried about the aftermath of his particular style of comedy.
