As the leader of this college bribery ring, Rick Singer has been suitably called out and punished for his crimes. Although he cooperated with the FBI and gave up invaluable information in terms of the parents who bribed him and the college staff that were also involved, he still faces a hefty punishment.
Not only does he face a whopping 65 years behind bars for his part in the scheme, but he has also been ordered to pay $1.25 million at the same time. He has confessed to his crimes and pleaded guilty.
