[post_page_title]Formally pleading guilty[/post_page_title]
Because she knew that she had done wrong and she fully accepted that she needed to be punished for breaking the law, Felicity Huffman officially pleaded guilty to her crimes on May 13, 2019. Her sentencing took place a few months later on September 13, and it was here that she was served her official sentence.
She was required to undertake 14 days in jail – although one was credited thanks to her day in custody – to pay a $30,000 fine and to take part in 250 hours of community service. However, as we now know, she was released after just 11 days.
