According to reports and official testimony, Sophia didn’t know anything about her mother’s plans. In her eyes, she simply undertook her SAT exam, and her results would be sent to her college of choice for them to decide whether she was worthy of a place or not.
She had no idea about what her mother was doing behind the scenes, and she was actually incredibly angry when she discovered what had happened. She was incensed with her mother, she shouted at her, and she even noted that she didn’t even recognize Felicity anymore.
