Nicknamed “Operation Varsity Blues,” the crime that Felicity Huffman was involved in first came to the FBI’s attention back in April 2018, but it didn’t really hit main headlines until the beginning of 2019 when they had gathered enough evidence to indict those involved.
Due to the fact that the operation has involved such a huge intelligence and security service, fans at home knew that Felicity wasn’t just involved in a petty crime. She was different from other celebs who had been caught with disturbing the police or protesting in honor of climate change. This was incredibly serious.
