When Operation Varsity Blues became common knowledge, it was all anyone could talk about. It became a nationwide and international scandal, and it once again drew a wedge between celebrities and normal people who work incredibly hard to get where they are in life.
That’s because this scandal was the perfect example of privileged people using their money and power to cheat the system. Their bribery allowed their children to get into colleges they may not have gotten into on their own merit – and that’s why people were so annoyed.
