Julie Benz’s acting career began in the early ’90s, as she received guest starring roles in shows like the successful sit-com Married with Children, Boy Meets World, and the sci-fi drama Sliders. Besides playing Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Benz also had recurring roles in sci-fi show Roswell, ABC’s Desperate Housewives, and on Dexter – playing the innocent girlfriend of the deadly killer. Among her recent roles is Inspector Abby Dunn in the reboot of action series Hawaii Five-0 and playing Holly Butler on crime drama Training Day.
