Jessica Hamby was once an innocent teenage girl, who got into the wrong place at the wrong time. Vampire Bill Compton was sentenced after having staked a vampire who had attempted to kill his love, Sookie, and was forced by the cruel vampire authorities to turn young Jessica into a vampire. Since Jessica’s father was abusive and very strict, as a vampire she explored her freedom and realized how powerful she could be. Jessica ends up marrying the human Hoyt, in the final episode of the show.
