Ashley dreamed of becoming a model, but when she realized she was too short to model in fashion, she decided to take acting lessons in order to do commercials. She fell in love with the world of acting and tried her luck there, getting several parts in TV before finally landing the role of Alice in The Twilight Saga. After that, she took part in the dramas Skateland and A Warrior’s Heart (alongside Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz), and also appeared in historical drama CBGB, about the famous Manhattan music club.
