Dakota began as a child actor and became famed at the age of only seven, after playing Lucy in the drama I Am Sam alongside Sean Penn. This role made Dakota the youngest person to ever had a SAG nomination in history. Other than Twilight, the actress participated in some major films, such as Hide and Seek (opposite Robert De Niro), War of the Worlds, Ewan McGregor’s drama American Pastoral, and The Runaways (with Twilight star Kristen Stewart). Dakota is set to star in the upcoming action film, Ocean’s 8.
