Bella is a shy, clumsy girl who moves in with her dad in Forks, and meets a mysterious, handsome guy named Edward – who, of course, turns out to be a century-year-old vampire. Despite this, they fall in love and manage to fight together to beat their enemies, his bloodlust, and her total lack of self preservation. Bella also has feelings for her best friend Jake (who just happens to be a werewolf), but eventually chooses to turn into a vampire and spend the rest of her life with Edward.
