Sophie-Anne is a 500-year-old vampire, who is the Queen of Louisiana. She’s very childlike and spoiled, but also cruel and conniving. Sophie-Anne is married of convenience, but has an affair with Sookie’s cousin, Hadley, who tells her about Sookie being a faery. She wishes to drink Sookie’s faery blood, in order to be able to walk around in the sun, and recruits Bill to help her. When Sookie throws him out because of it, Bill has Sohpie killed and takes her place as the King of Louisiana.
