Nikki’s career kickstarted when she co-wrote and starred in teen drama Thirteen as Evie, a role which gained her several award nominations. The film’s director, Catherine Hardwicke, later directed Twilight and cast Nikki in the role of Rosalie. After Twilight, the actress participated in other films like Catch .44, as well as Empire State, alongside Dwayne Johnson. Nikki has a real passion for music as well. In fact, she recorded several songs with former husband, singer-songwriter Paul McDonald. The actress then married The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, in 2015.
